Modular Synth (Eurorack)

Introduction

I have played with soft synths for years and always wanted a hardware synth. I thought for ages about what to get - wondering about a Moog Werkstatt or Mother 32, possibly a 0-Coast, a Doepfer Dark Energy or a Novation Circuit. In the end I decided to bite the bullet and go full-hog with a modular synth. I settled on Eurorack format due to popularity of modules and the number of DIY ideas.

I want to be able to sequence in Ableton Live and record from the modular synth. I am also keen to sample different patches and load into Kontakt.

I ended up building a case out of walnut. I powered it with two Dopefer DIY kits. I made a lot of the modules myself as well as buying modules.
