Members of the Royal Forest of Dean Caving Club can usually be found in the Rising Sun at Moseley Green on Wednesday evenings after caving/digging sessions.

The Club also holds regular evening trips to local mines and caves, as well as monthly trips to visit caves in other areas of the UK.

There is also a monthly social held in the Rising Sun at which there is usually given a talk on related subjects. These monthly meetings generally take place on the first Monday of the month at 8.30, downstairs in the skittle alley. Non members are welcome to attend.

Regular training sessions for ropework skills used in vertical caves are held at the Gloucestershire Cave Rescue depot in Cinderford, usually on the second Tuesday of the month.
