Members of the Royal Forest of Dean Caving Club can be found at the monthly social held in the Rising Sun at Moseley Green when there is usually a talk on related subjects. These monthly meetings generally take place on the first Monday of the month at 8.30, downstairs in the skittle alley. Non members are very welcome to attend.
Some members may also to be found in the bar on Wednesday evenings after caving/digging sessions.
The Club holds regular evening trips to local mines and caves, as well as monthly trips to visit caves in other areas of the UK.
Regular training sessions for ropework skills used in vertical caves are held at the Gloucestershire Cave Rescue depot in Cinderford, usually on the second Tuesday of the month.
