Redhouse Lane Swallet

Grid reference: SO 5733 1489

At over 1.6km in length, and carrying a stream that has been dye tested to the Slaughter Rising down in the River Wye, Redhouse Lane Swallet is a significant cave.

The cave is described as being "not for those of larger proportions" or for people with a dislike of "ducks creeps and plenty of water" Flash flooding is a serious problem in the cave, and it should only be entered in settled weather. Wetsuits are recommended.
